I recently had my wisdom tooth extracted here. My tooth was vertically impacted and stuck between the gum, causing a lot of pain, so I quickly planned for an extraction. On the day of the procedure, I was not only in pain but also extremely anxious. It was my first surgery, and I was scared because I had over-Googled the possible, though rare, side effects the night before. However, the doctors here were very attentive, listening to all my concerns and doubts. They explained the entire procedure to me in detail beforehand, so I knew what to expect. During the procedure, the area around the tooth was numbed with anesthesia, and although I was conscious the whole time, I didn't feel much apart from the sound of drilling. I recommend bringing someone with you—not absolutely necessary, but it helps since you might feel tired afterward. Plus, there are post-operative instructions for faster healing that will be given to you, and it's a good idea to clarify any doubts you have at that time. The doctor was kind enough to provide her personal contact number in case I had any concerns. Thanks to the doctor's skillful work, I didn’t experience much pain during the recovery week. Just make sure to follow the post-operative instructions closely. Today, I had my stitches removed, and the doctor confirmed that the wound has healed properly. I'm 25, and while the internet often says it's easier to recover from wisdom tooth extraction when you're younger since your bones are still growing, I can assure you that with the care of the Clove team, following their instructions, and respecting your body's ability to heal, you’ll get through it smoothly
